Up for sale is complete set of adjustable rear camber/caster/toe arms for the C-class W203 Mercedes Benz model. These models include the C180, C220, C240, C280, C320, C32 and C55 AMG models. These kits are fabricate locally here in the United States. The rod ends are zinc plated with Energy Suspension graphite filled polyurethane bushings with aluminum alloy sleeves. The control arms are T6061 brushed aluminum hollow tubing for strength, durability, and light weight.
The camber arms are great for correcting negative camber - when the top of the wheel is tipped in towards the body. Camber is the tilt of the wheel along its vertical. Running wider tires or car with lowering springs can cause this issue where your tires are wearing out on the inside. They are also great for older cars where the suspension tends to sag hence the wheel looks "spray out".
To some degree, this is a good thing as it allows more of the tire tread to stay in contact with the ground during hard cornering. But if you have too much negative camber, which degrades cornering performance as well as hinders grip during hard acceleration. Negative camber also wore out the tires faster on the inside.
The caster arm will help to adjust the front of the rear wheel, facing straight rather than going outwards or inwards. The toe arms are great for pulling the lower part of the wheel inwards hence tucking in the rear tires under the fender.
With the camber, caster and toe arms adjustable, the rear wheels will be aligned, straight and nicely tucked in.
